Peter-Michael Haeberer

Peter-Michael Haeberer (born April 5, 1945 in Berlin ) was director of the Berlin State Criminal Police Office (LKA) until April 15, 2011 .

Life

Haeberer studied English at the Free University of Berlin before entering the higher service of the Berlin criminal police in 1971 . Since his predecessor Hans-Ulrich Voss left the company , he had already been acting as head of the LKA before he took over the post on February 13, 2002. Before that, Haeberer was head of the state police force in the LKA.

He was succeeded in 2011 by the chief criminal director Christian Steiof .

Haeberer is married.
