Peter-Segler-Verlag

The Peter-sailor-Verlag is an independent German book publisher . It was founded in 1995 by the Freiberg author and publisher Peter Segler in Freiberg and publishes German-language fiction . A special focus is on contemporary poetry .

The publishing house became known through the cult novel Ostkreuz by Michael Meinicke , in which the life of the Beat generation in the late 1960s and early 1970s in the GDR is told. Other well-known authors who have published works in the Peter-Segler-Verlag to date are Gunter Preuß , Jürgen Lehmann , Sobo Swobodnik , Thomas Bachmann , Knud Wollenberger , Rainer Strobelt , Martin von Arndt and Oliver Dahm .

In addition to monographs, anthologies with German-language literature are also published.
