The Evangelical Lutheran Peter and Paul Church in Cottenau in Upper Franconia is a branch church of the Wirsberg parish consecrated to Peter and Paul .

The church and the churchyard are among the local monuments . The special features of the furnishings include the stucco ceiling, the pulpit altar and the font . An inscription on the outer wall tells of the expansion of the church by Georg Wolf von Guttenberg in 1606 and the construction of the churchyard wall in 1609. This encompasses the cemetery and includes side buildings.
