Peter Aalbæk Jensen (born April 8, 1956 ) is a Danish film producer .

Life

In 1992 he founded the Danish production company Zentropa with the director Lars von Trier . The production company is Denmark's largest film company.

Peter Aalbæk Jensen has now produced over 50 films. In addition to his work as a film producer for Lars von Trier's films, he also works as a producer for other directors, including Italian for beginners by Lone Scherfig and Kleine Missgeschicke by Annette K. Olesen .

In 2008, Jensen was a jury member for the TV show Got Talent . In 2008 Peter Aalbæk Jensen was one of the guests of honor at the 50th Nordic Film Days Lübeck . One of his most famous films is Storm .

Peter Aalbæk Jensen received the Douglas Sirk Prize in 2005 for his work as a film producer together with Lars von Trier .

In November 2017 it was reported in the course of MeToo (hashtag) that nine women made sexual harassment and bullying at work by Jensen public at Zentropa and at Christmas parties.
