Peter Axer

Peter Axer (* 1965 ) is a German law scholar and professor at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg .

Life

Axer studied, did his doctorate and did his habilitation at the University of Bonn as a student of Josef Isensee . After his habilitation (setting standards for the executive in social insurance) in 2000, he held a professorship at the University of Siegen from 2001 to 2004 and a professorship at the University of Trier from 2004 to 2009 . From March 2008 to February 2009 exercised Axer the Office of the Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Trier. Axer has held the chair for social law in connection with public law at Heidelberg University since 2009 . Axer is a member of the German constitutional law teachers' association . On November 15, 2013, at the suggestion of the Baden-Württemberg Minister of Justice Rainer Stickelberger , Axer was appointed a part-time judge at the State Social Court of Baden-Württemberg by the Prime Minister .
