Peter Bonu Johnson , and Peter Pierre Benoit Johnson , Bonu Yandeh Johnson (* 10. May 1963 in Bathurst, now Banjul , † 28. July 2019 ) was Gambian football coach of the Gambian U-20 national soccer team , during which he Junior World Cup 2007 in Canada led. He was also a coaching assistant for the Gambian national soccer team .

Life

He was an active player in the national team himself from 1983 to 1994 until he injured his right eye on September 4, 1994 in the qualifying game for the 1996 African Cup of Nations against Congo , which ended his career as a player. By then he had made 38 appearances in the team and scored four goals as a defender .
