Peter Dietschi (diplomat)
Peter Eugen Dietschi (born December 22, 1930 in Basel ) is a former Swiss diplomat .
Peter Dietschi 1957 at the University of Basel with a dissertation entitled The parallelism Ferdinand Hodler : A contribution to the psychology of style of modern art to Dr. phil. PhD . From 1959 to 1995 he worked for the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs . From 1982 to 1987 he was ambassador to the GDR and from 1992 to 1995 head of mission in Ireland .
His father was the politician Eugen Dietschi .
