Peter Falter

Peter Falter (born December 10, 1949 ) is a former German soccer player .

Falter began his career at ESV Ingolstadt-Ringsee before moving to Rot-Weiss Essen in 1971 . In 1974 he went to Bayer 05 Uerdingen , and rose with Bayer Uerdingen through the success in the relegation games against FK Pirmasens in the first Bundesliga. In the second leg against FK Pirmasens, Falter scored three goals and hit the mark as a singer at the subsequent promotion ceremony in Uerdingen ("I am Peter Lorimer von Uerdingen" - based on the legendary striker from Leeds United). During the winter break of the following 1975/76 season, he moved to TSV 1860 Munich . In 1987 he ended his career there.

The striker played 19 Bundesliga games (1 goal) and 97 second division games (33 goals).
