Peter Gockner (* around 1959) is a former Austrian table tennis player . In 1984 he was Austrian champion in singles.

With the men's team from UTTC Römerquelle Langenlois he was Austrian champion three times in a row from 1982 to 1984, and vice-champion in 1985. At the Austrian championships he won three titles, namely in 1983 in mixed with Brigitte Gropper , in 1984 in singles and 1985 in doubles with Walter Bauer.

Peter Gockner was nominated for the world championships in 1981 and 1983 and for the European championships in 1982 and 1984 , but never came close to medal ranks.
