Peter Härtl (born October 21, 1950 in Bremen ) is a lawyer and administrative clerk and from 2012 to 2015 Bremen State Councilor at the Senator for Health in Bremen.

biography

Härtl completed his community service after graduating from high school . He studied law at the University of Bremen from 1971 to 1977 and was qualified to be a judge. He had been working as an administrative officer in Bremen since 1978, a. a. at the social services of the universities, at the Senate Commission for Human Resources (SKP) as head of department and since 2000 at the Senator for Labor as head of department for labor and social law, burden sharing and reparation. From 2005 until the end of 2012 he was Department Head 1 for Central Services at the Bremen Senate Department for Social Affairs, Children, Youth and Women.

On December 13, 2012, he was appointed by the Senate to succeed Joachim Schuster on the State Councilor for Health as a representative of Senator Hermann Schulte-Sasse (non-party). He was followed on July 15, 2015 by Gerd-Rüdiger Kück .

In 2012, Härtl became deputy chairman of the DRK district association in Bremen.

He is married and has three grown children.
