Peter Hagen (cook)

Peter Hagen (* 1977 in Bregenz ) is an Austrian chef .

Career

After his training at the Hotel Messmer in Bregenz , Hagen moved to Deuring Schlößle (also in Bregenz). Then he went to the Schwarzwaldstube under Harald Wohlfahrt (three Michelin stars ) in Baiersbronn and to Villa Joya with Dieter Koschina in the Algarve , the only two-star restaurant in Portugal . Then Hagen cooked in the Cheval Blanc restaurant (two Michelin stars) at Peter Knogl's in Basel .

Since July 2012 Peter Hagen has been the head chef at the Ammolite restaurant in Rust , which is named after Ammolit and is located at Europa-Park . In 2013 the restaurant was awarded a Michelin star, followed by a second in 2014.
