Peter Heeren
Peter Heeren (born April 24, 1965 in Aurich ) is a German composer .
Life
Heeren studied church music (A-diploma), Konzertexamen (organ) and composition (with electro-acoustic music) at the Lübeck Academy of Music and at the Academy of Music and Theater in Hamburg . Peter Heeren was trained by Martin Haselböck (organ), Wolfgang Zerer (organ) and Friedhelm Döhl (composition). Since 1993 he has been active as a cantor and organist in the Evangelical Lutheran parish of Marne . He lives in Itzehoe .

In addition to compositions for various ensembles, Heeren also deals with gongs and their tonal possibilities.
Peter Heeren developed the composition program JCself together with Nils Kay. The program determines certain values in a repetitive process based on the principle of randomness and selection. These values are assigned to properties of tones. Synergetic structures are formed.
