Peter Holler

Peter Holler (* in Hamburg ; † September 2009 ), was a German songwriter and rock singer .

Career

Holler released his first albums in the 1970s. After some songs had been heard on the radio, Holler and his band Hamburg City Rock Band (HCR) became more well known. Club tours through Germany and some neighboring countries followed. Furthermore, Holler played on well-known festival stages, u. a. in the opening act for Joe Cocker's “Night Calls” tour, at the Water Festival in Stockholm, the Danube Festival in Vienna or the Montreux Jazz Festival . Peter Holler founded his own label and the publishing house "HHCR Musik" in the 1990s.

His last album Lied , recorded in 2009, was released posthumously in autumn 2010.
