Peter III from Rosenberg

Peter III von Rosenberg (Czech Petr III. z Rožmberka ) (* 1381 ; † December 7, 1406 ), came from the Bohemian aristocratic family of Rosenbergs .

Life

The eldest son of Heinrich III. von Rosenberg came from his first marriage to Barbara von Schaunberg . He was intended to be his father's successor and became engaged to Anna Landgravine von Leuchtenberg and Countess von Hals on December 14, 1396 . The wedding did not take place, however, because Peter died at the age of 25. After the death of his father in 1412, Peter's stepbrother Ulrich II von Rosenberg became regent of the House of Rosenberg .
