Peter J. Holzer

Peter Josef Holzer (* before 1970) is an Austrian linguist and translation scholar . He teaches as an assistant professor at the Institute for Translation Studies (INTRAWI) at the University of Innsbruck .

Life

After studying Romance languages (Spanish, Portuguese), General Linguistics , Translation Studies and Law at the Universities of Innsbruck and Munich , Peter Holzer doctorate in 1993 in Innsbruck for Dr. phil . Since May 1990 he has been a lecturer at the Institute for Translation (INTRAWI) at the University of Innsbruck and works as a freelance translator . Peter Holzer is a board member of CIUTI .
