Peter Juchem (born July 22, 1969 ) is a former German ice hockey player who played on the position of the striker . Juchem spent most of his career at EHC Neuwied .

Career

Peter Juchem was in the Neuwied Bears regional league squad from the 1991/92 season . A year later he and the team made it to the top division , in which the bears immediately made it to the first division north for the following season. Juchem spent a total of eight years in the team, where, in addition to two promotions, he was able to celebrate winning the DEB league cup and two championships in the second-highest league. In the 1999/2000 season he played for ESV Bergisch Gladbach in the regional league before he had to end his career for health reasons.

Peter Juchem quickly developed into a crowd favorite among Neuwied fans. His sobering record for a striker in the points lists quickly contributed to the fact that the legendary fan chant "now a Juchem goal is coming" was heard for a long time in the Icehouse Neuwied as soon as he stepped on the ice surface.
