Peter Karlsson (athlete)
Jim Peter Karlsson (born November 23, 1970 in Gothenburg ) is a Swedish athlete and Olympian.
As a sprinter, Peter Karlsson has a best performance in the 100-meter run of 10.18 in 1996. This performance is still a Swedish record today . With a 4.0 m tailwind, he even managed a time of less than 10 seconds in 1995 (9.98).
With the Swedish 4 x 100 meter relay , he reached three finals at international championships, but he was denied a medal:
- 1994: European Championships : 4th place
- 1996: Olympic Games : 5th place
- 1998: European Championships : 6th place
