Peter Kopischke

Peter Kopischke (born November 15, 1942 in Seesen ) is a Lower Saxony politician ( SPD ) and former member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

After attending primary school in Seesen, Kopischke switched to the commercial school in Goslar . In 1959 he started working for the city of Seesen. He attended administrative school and passed the first administrative examination in 1964. The second administrative examination followed in 1967. Kopischke attended the Administration and Business Academy in Braunschweig and in 1973 passed the administrative diploma. From 1980 until his election to the state parliament in 1986 he was deputy city director in Seesen.

Kopischke had been a member of the ÖTV trade union since 1960 . He became a member of the SPD in 1962. He was a member of the state executive committee of the SPD Lower Saxony . He was elected chairman of the supervisory board of Wirtschaftsbetriebe Seesen. He was also a member of the board of trustees of the Harzwasserwerke.

Since 1986 he was city councilor of the city of Seesen and was chairman of the SPD parliamentary group. From 1972 to 1979 he was a member of the district council of the Gandersheim district (after the district reform of the Goslar district). Between 1977 and 1979 he was also chairman of the SPD parliamentary group here. In the eleventh to fourteenth electoral term he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament from June 21, 1986 until his resignation on July 14, 1999. Here he was chairman of the subcommittee on leisure, tourism and spas of the committee for economy and transport from September 20, 1990 to June 20, 1994.

Kopischke was elected full-time district administrator for the district of Goslar in June 1999 and held this position from June 21, 1999 to October 31, 2001.
