The Idiotenzwinger (original title: L'infermiera nella corsia dei militari ) is an Italian erotic comedy from 1979 directed by Mariano Laurenti . Lino Banfi and Nadia Cassini play the leading roles ; Nieves Navarro plays - under the pseudonym Susan Scott - Banfi's frigid wife. Karin Schubert also plays a supporting role as the secret lover of a criminal. The film was released on DVD under the alternative title Flotte Teens im Idiotenzwinger .

While searching for two stolen paintings by the De Sardes clan, nightclub owner Johnny and his lover Eva find the poisoned corpse of their accomplice, an art thief. They take the whereabouts of their valuable prey from the dead man's farewell letter. The lost pictures are said to be somewhere in Professor Larusso's psychiatric clinic . Johnny, who secretly trades in works of art, then makes a business agreement with one of his dancers and sends her, disguised as a nurse , to the private mental hospital.

As soon as she arrives, the attractive Grazia Mancini arouses desire in the hypersexual clinic director Prof. Larusso, who suffers from his wife's lack of sexual desire . In addition, clinic doctor Dr. Santarelli into the new night nurse.

Grazia takes her job seriously and now takes care of wealthy patients with personality disorders and other mental illnesses. She also tries to locate the two valuable paintings. She later discovered this with painter Peppino, a dumb scion of the owner family. The beauty later travels with the works of art to her boss and client Johnny, secretly pursued by the jealous Dr. Santarelli. During the handover, there were fights in the course of which Johnny and Eva flee with the art objects. Grazia and Dr. Santarelli succeeds with a ruse to catch the two crooks and to hand them over to justice. At the end of the film, Grazia and Dr. Santarelli are lovers, while clinic director Larussa becomes a patient of his own facility due to a serious mistake.
