Peter Kracke (born June 1, 1943 in Velbert ; † November 15, 1993 ) was a German football player . In the 1969/70 season he played two games in the Bundesliga and celebrated the German championship with Borussia Mönchengladbach .

Career

The attacker Kracke moved in 1969 from SSVg Velbert 02 to Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach . The Borussia, who were looked after by coach Hennes Weisweiler , secured themselves the win of the German championship that season. The newcomer from the amateur camp made his debut on the first round matchday, August 16, 1969, in a 2-0 away defeat at FC Schalke 04 in the Bundesliga. Kracke played alongside greats such as Wolfgang Kleff , Berti Vogts , Günter Netzer and Horst Köppel . Kracke was unable to develop into a regular player - his second and last Bundesliga appearance took place on April 18, 1970 in a 1-0 defeat at Hannover 96 - and after a season with teammate Werner Kaiser he moved to 1. FC Saarbrücken , where he spent a year played in the second -rate regional soccer league Southwest . Saarbrücken finished fourth and Kracke had scored two goals in 28 league games. From there he went to France to FC Angoulême before ending his career at DJK Gütersloh .
