Peter Kreeft (theologian)
Peter John Kreeft (born March 16, 1937 in Paterson , New Jersey ) is an American philosopher and theologian .
Having grown up Calvinist , he later turned to Catholicism . He is known as an advocate (" apologist ") of the Catholic faith.
Kreeft received his Bachelor of Arts from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1959 and his Master of Arts from Fordham University in 1961 , where he received his doctorate in 1965 .
He is a professor of philosophy at Boston College and King's College in New York City and the author of several books.
