Peter Kuckei

Peter Kuckei (born May 25, 1938 in Husum ) is a German artist. The main work consists mainly of large-format painting, alongside drawings and glass painting.

biography

From 1960 to 1961 Peter Kuckei studied at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Bremen and from 1961 to 1963 at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart under Professor Heinrich Wildemann .

Peter Kuckei taught at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart from 1986 to 1987. From 1963 he lived and worked in Berlin and Butjadingen before moving to the USA in 1993 and opening a studio in San Francisco (California). In 2002 Peter Kuckei settled in Miami (Florida). Since 2009 he has been living and working in Butjadingen again.
