Peter Löhr (born September 1, 1959 in Bürstadt ) is a former German soccer player .

The 1.75 m tall defender began playing football at Viktoria Aschaffenburg . After playing for VfR Bürstadt from 1979 to November 1980 , where he scored three goals in 41 missions, he moved to Fortuna Düsseldorf . For Fortuna he played 102 games (no goal) in the Bundesliga from December 1980 to 1985 . Before he came to Düsseldorf for the second half of the 1980/81 season, he had already played a game in the DFB's U21 junior team on November 18, 1980 . In the 1-0 defeat against France, he came on for Lothar Matthäus. At Fortuna, coach Heinz Höher had replaced the dismissed Otto Rehhagel as coach from December 8, 1980 . The defensive midfielder made his first Bundesliga appearance on January 24, 1981 in a 4-2 home win against Bayer Uerdingen. On March 31, 1981 he came to his second international match in the U 21. In Koblenz, the German selection with the defensive Löhr and the three attackers Pierre Littbarski , Dieter Schatzschneider and Rudi Völler with 3-1 goals against Spain prevailed.

In 1985 he returned to the second division, where he was still active for Viktoria Aschaffenburg between 1985 and 1987 and in the 1988/89 season with a total of 84 games with two goals. After that, Löhr was a coach. Among other things, he trained in the 2001/02 season Viktoria Aschaffenburg with whom he reached tenth place in the Hessen League. and from 2004 to 2011 the Sportfreunde Seligenstadt , which is the last club he coached so far. In December 2012 he was appointed by the board of directors to the sports board of Viktoria Aschaffenburg. He is currently Vice President at Viktoria Aschaffenburg. He is also a frequent guest coach at Rudi Völler's football school in Cala Millor on Mallorca.

Löhr is employed by the city of Aschaffenburg, where he works in the sports department.
