Peter Löw (born January 27, 1941 in Mittweida ) is a German writer .

Live and act

After leaving school, Peter Löw trained as a telecommunications fitter and worked in this profession until 1968. He published short prose in the press, worked in a circle of writers and was editor-in-chief of the monthly magazine "PODIUM" in Karl-Marx- from 1968 to 1973 and from 1976 to 1977. City . From 1973 to 1976 Löw studied at the "Johannes R. Becher" literature institute in Leipzig . From 1977 to 1990 he worked as a cultural policy employee in Hainichen and was taken over as press spokesman and personal advisor for the district of Hainichen after the fall of the Wall. In 2000 Löw founded the Lions Verlag Mittweida, which existed for five years.

He is the father of three children and lives in Mittweida.
