Peter James McParland (born April 25, 1934 in Newry ) is a former Northern Irish football player .

He started his career at Dundalk . McParland won the FA Cup final with Aston Villa in 1957 and contributed to the victory with two goals. In total, he appeared 341 times for Aston Villa and scored 120 goals.

He also joined Northern Ireland at the 1958 World Cup , where he scored five goals that brought his team to the quarter-finals.

He made a total of 34 international matches.
