Peter Millwisch

Peter Millwisch ( pseudonym : Pierre Emme ; born July 11, 1943 in Vienna ; † July 8, 2008 in Vienna-Döbling ) was an Austrian writer.

Life

Peter Millwisch was born in Vienna in 1943, attended elementary school and high school here. After graduation Millwisch began at the University of World Trade Economics study. In 1964 he moved to the University of Vienna to law to study, which he in 1971 as a student (tourism, insurance) successfully with the promotion of Dr. iur. completed.

After a short interlude in the armed forces , he got the opportunity to work as an assistant to the management of a German food company in Germany. In doing so, he managed to convince the group management to found a subsidiary in Austria, and he was appointed managing director. In 1977 he started his own business as a management consultant and market researcher in this area. At the same time he took over the editor-in-chief of Austria for a specialist magazine for gastronomy and community catering. (Restaurant and GV practice), which he held until they were sold.

After the decline in his professional activities, he began to indulge in his passion. Until then, it was important to read them, but now he began to write novels himself as "Pierre Emme". His first illegible novel was 800 pages. But in 2005 he made a successful debut with his detective novel “Pastetenlust”. A total of twelve novels with the protagonist Mario Palinski followed by 2011. For his last novel - Zwanzig / 11 - Millwisch chose the brothers Marc and Maurice Petrark as protagonists.

Peter Millwisch died three days before his 65th birthday on July 8, 2008 in Weinviertel, where he moved in 2007 to spend his old age there. He found his final resting place in the Neustift cemetery .

Peter Millwisch was married twice; There are three daughters from the second marriage.
