Peter Mwai Ndichu (born June 30, 1990 in Kiambu ) is a Kenyan sprinter .

Athletic career

Peter Mwai Ndichu gained his first international experience at the 2015 African Games in Brazzaville , where he reached the semi-finals in the 200-meter run and finished fourth in the Kenyan 4 x 100 meter relay in 39.78 s. In 2016 he reached the semi-finals over 200 meters at the African Championships in Durban and this time reached fifth place in the relay. In 2017, he finished seventh with the 4 x 200 meter relay at the World Relays in the Bahamas . In 2018 he took part in the Commonwealth Games in the Australian Gold Coast for the first time and was eliminated there with 21.27 s in the first round over 200 meters. In addition, he was used with the 4-by-400-meter relay in the run-up, before the relay was disqualified in the final. In August he finished seventh at the African Championships in Asaba in 20.80 s and was fifth with the relay in 39.77 s.

In 2018, Ndichu became the Kenyan champion in the 200-meter run.
