Peter Niedziella

Peter Niedziella (born January 2, 1944 in Wernigerode ) is a German radio presenter and news anchor .

Life

Niedziella is a trained electric motor fitter. He attended the language school in Roßleben and broke off his engineering studies (precision mechanics / optics) in Ilmenau to go to the radio. Niedziella studied in the journalism section at the Karl-Marx-Universität Leipzig and worked in radio since 1964 . His best-known broadcast was musical air freight , which he moderated from its start in 1970 until it was discontinued as part of the reform of GDR broadcasting at the time of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
