Peter Nilsson (table tennis player)
Peter Nilsson (born November 8, 1973 in Gothenburg ) is a former Swedish table tennis player . He is European champion with the team . Nilsson played in the German table tennis Bundesliga a . a. for SV Plüderhausen .

Career
In 1988 he had his first international appearances, including at the Youth World Championships in Novi Sad , where he was able to reach the quarter-finals in singles. In 1989 he was able to achieve third place at the Swedish Championships.
Due to strong Swedish competition, including Jörgen Persson , Jan-Ove Waldner and Mikael Appelgren , he did not appear again until 1991. Nilsson played again at the Youth World Cup, this time he won bronze in singles and doubles, and the Swede won gold with the team.
In 1993 he was allowed to take part in an adult World Cup for the first time , and was able to reach the round of 32 in singles, while he failed in doubles in the second round.
His first European Championship followed in 1994, but did not come close to medal ranks. Further appearances followed in 1998, including at the World Cup , but he lost there early. In 2000 he became European champion with the team.
In 2006 he was last in the world rankings in November and ended his career that same year.
