The SV Plüderhausen eV is a German sports club from Plüderhausen . His table tennis department played in the table tennis Bundesliga for many years .

history

In 1893 the Turn-Verein-Plüderhausen was founded, from which after disputes over the chairmanship in 1912 the workers gymnastics club Plüderhausen split off. After the First World War , both clubs were reunited and in 1921 a football department was established . After several renaming, the club was given the current name Sportverein Plüderhausen . Before the game was stopped because of the Second World War , the football department celebrated its first success as the winner of the district league. After the resumption of activities, the table tennis department was founded in 1947. With the construction of the Hohbergsporthalle in 1983, additional departments were set up: handball , badminton and athletics .

Table tennis

The men's team of the table tennis department took third place in the association league in 1960/61. Since the two first place winners waived, Plüderhausen rose to the league, the highest German division at the time, but could not hold the class. In 1996/97 she was second in the 2nd Bundesliga South. When the first in the table 1. FC Bayreuth waived promotion, Plüderhausen received the offer to move up as a substitute. The association refused. In 1999 he was promoted to the Bundesliga after another waiver by 1. FC Bayreuth . In 2001/02, 2004/05 and 2008/2009 the SVP won the ETTU Cup . In 2003 the club was renamed after the main sponsor SV Weru Plüderhausen . In the middle of 2004 this sponsor withdrew.

In 2005 he was forced to go down after errors in the licensing process . Contrary to earlier announcements that in the event of relegation the professional team would be deregistered from the game, Plüderhausen went to the second division and also competed internationally. The team around Aleksandar Karakašević managed direct resurgence in 2005/06 and reached the ETTU Cup final.

The team for the 2008/09 season consisted of Aleksandar Karakasevic from Serbia (mixed European champion 2000, 2005, 2007, WR. 54, status 6/08), Leung Chu Yan from Hong Kong (national player Hong Kong, German team champion 2005, WR. 49, Status 6/08), Jakub Kosowski from Poland (national player Poland, WR. 142, status 6/08) and Zsolt Pete from Serbia (national player, WR. 233, status 6/08). The trainer was Momcilo Bojic. It was the German Cup winner and ETTU Cup winner this season through the “Miracle of Moscow” (3-0 in Moscow after 1-3 in the first leg).

In the 2013/14 season, the team consisted of Adrien Mattenet , Kim Jung-hoon , Bai Fengtian, Trinko Keen and Andrew Baggaley . When she was last at the end of the season, the club withdrew the team from professional sport.

The first team in the table tennis department currently plays (2018/19 season) in the major league, the second in the regional league, and the third in the district class.

The senior team, which became German champions in 1994 and 1997, was also successful.

Soccer

The football department of SV Plüderhausen is currently (2018/19 season) playing with both men's teams in the district league B. With over 1000 children, the club's youth tournament is one of the largest youth tournaments in the area.
