Peter Nutt (born June 16, 1968 in Eschen , Principality of Liechtenstein ) is a Liechtenstein artist and iron sculptor.

Peter Nutt's steel sculptures & art objects are represented in many private collections and in public spaces.

Life

Peter Nutt grew up in Eschen . As the son of the machine and equipment manufacturer Hubert Nutt , Peter Nutt came into contact with the world of metal construction for unique and complex solutions in mechanical engineering very early on . These early experiences probably shaped him in his works and creations. Mechanics and art are closely related in his work.

After training as a mechanic and the subsequent years of practical experience, his first artistic steps took him to the field of metal-glass-art lamps. In his early self-employment, he focused on the world-famous Tiffany glass art and made similar objects himself as his own creations.

In 2002 his artistic work was expanded to include furniture and art objects. The subsequent exhibitions in the Liechtenstein- Rheintal area then laid the groundwork for his current company, "Peter Nutt Design". Today the artist has an international customer base and has set up his workshop and studio in Balzers in his home country of Liechtenstein.

With his line of "Furniture, Form & Design", Peter Nutt offers everyday objects for living and house building. The line includes designer kitchens, stylish wine racks, original smokers, playful lamps, unique chimneys, designer grills and metal sculptures. Peter Nutt designs rooms that are supposed to make living and working more beautiful. He works for private clients as well as well-known architects and companies from Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Europe.

On his journey of discovery through art, he has tried a lot in recent years. In kinetic-mechanical art, in which movement is an important part of the object, Peter Nutt has found his personal means of expression.

Many of his art objects are in private inaccessible collections. Since 2016, Peter Nutt has created the prizes for the life's work of large companies for the Liechtenstein Chamber of Commerce.
