Peter Oleikiewitz (* 20th January 1946 in the village Chemnitz ) is a German politician of the SPD and was from the first term in 1990 to the state election in 2006 a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt .

Life and work

After graduating from the Polytechnic High School in 1962, Oleikiewitz began an apprenticeship as a boring mill lathe operator at SKET . He then made up his Abitur at the ABF Halle from 1964 to 1966 . After completing his five-year geology studies at the Bergakademie Freiberg in 1971, he worked as a research assistant in the geology department in the Magdeburg District Council until 1990 .

Oleikiewitz is married and has two children.

Political party

Oleikiewitz joined the SPD in 1990. From 1992 to 2003 he was district chairman of the Bördekreis .

MP

Oleikiewitz represented the constituency of Wanzleben in the state parliament. He was last elected via the state list and did not run again in 2006. Oleikiewitz was deputy chairman of the committee for the environment, deputy chairman of the special committee to review the members of the state parliament, as well as a member of the committee for food, agriculture and forestry. During the flood disaster in 2002 he was a member of the flood committee. Oleikiewitz was a member of the first freely elected People's Chamber in the GDR. From 1990 to 1994 he was a council member in Dodendorf . From 1999 to 2004 Oleikiewitz was a member of the district assembly of the Bördekreis and chairman of the SPD district assembly.
