Peter Paul Hopfinger

Peter Paul Hopfinger (born May 27, 1955 in Vienna ) is an Austrian journalist and author .

Hopfinger began his career in the late 1970s as a journalist for the daily newspaper Kurier . In 1985 he was head of the Insider youth department at the Neue Kronen Zeitung and worked for the WIENER and Basta magazines as well as for other media such as the Top magazine. He fell ill with diabetes in 1995 , founded the first German-language online magazine in 1996 and subsequently Diabetes Austria - the immediate aid initiative for people with diabetes , which is Austria's largest diabetes platform. In 2014, the diabetes emergency trailer he developed was added to the collection of the German Hygiene Museum in Dresden.
