Peter Pernusch (born September 28, 1958 ) is a former Austrian archery biathlete and current speed skater .

Peter Pernusch belonged to the world class in archery biathlon at the beginning. At the 2001 European Championships in Pokljuka , he won the bronze medal in sprint races for the Italians Alberto Peracino and Andrei Markow . In the Top 15 competition, which the International Biathlon Union organized as a demonstration event in 2001 after it had taken over the sport from the Fédération Internationale de Tir à l'Arc , he finished seventh in the mass start race. Over the course of the decade he switched to speed skating, where he belongs to the extended Austrian performance class.
