Peter Polta

Peter Polta (born 1967 in Mutlangen ) is a German non-party local politician. Since 1 December 2019 he's district of Heidenheim district .

Life

Polta completed an apprenticeship in high-level administration as a graduate in administration . He then studied law at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen and passed both state law exams .

After completing his studies, Polta worked briefly as a lawyer . In 2000 he joined the state service of the state of Baden-Württemberg. In the following years he worked for the State Office for Land Reorganization and State Development, the Stuttgart Regional Council , the Ministry of Environment and Transport and the Ministry of the Interior . In 2012 he moved to the Heidenheim district office and became the first state official in the Heidenheim district. He acted as head of the administration and migration department. Polta applied in 2019 as the only candidate to succeed the late District Administrator Thomas Reinhardt . On November 6, 2019 he was appointed by council elected the district Heidenheim unanimously as the new district. Polta took office on December 1, 2019.

Polta is married and has one child.
