Peter Raske

Peter Raske (born May 27, 1949 in Heide ) is a politician and has been a member of the SPD since 1972 . Raske studied sociology and art education and is married.

Act

From 1988 to 1991 he was chairman of the local SPD association in Papenburg . From 1987 to 2007 he was a member of the SPD district executive and since 1993 deputy district chairman of the SPD in Emsland . In 1994 and 1998 Peter Raske ran for the state parliament in constituency 90. As a successor, he became a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament in the 14th electoral term for a few months in October 2002 . With the elections on February 2, 2003, he left parliament. He has been a member of the City Council of Papenburg since 2005 and chairman of the SPD parliamentary group from November 2008 to December 2018. In 2006 Peter Raske became a member of the district council in the Emsland district. 1983–1988 Peter Raske was chairman of the BJkE eV, Federal Association of Youth Art Schools and Cultural Education Institutions. From 2010–2014, Peter Raske was chairman of the federal work group for local occupational rehabilitation.
