reception

  • Peter Schauwecker went even further, who even had picture elements (transfer elements) cut out of someone else's initial picture and later compensated for this highly personal gift with a clay symbol from the picture of the recipient. There are no limits to the group leader's lateral thinking imagination. There is always tension and a lot of playfulness. Nevertheless, such cross-linking and networking group dynamic games should be used with care. Gisela Schmeer: Art therapy in the group: Networking - Resonances - Stratagems. (= Learning to Live. Volume 160). 2003, ISBN 3-608-89716-X , p. 76.
  • From the practical description and reflection of the use of TCI in creative therapy with groups by Elisabeth Thomalin and Peter Schauwecker, additions for the use of creative media in the grief process of groups can be gained. In particular for the structuring of the element of the method there are additional impulses. Ingrid Jope: Grief as a development process. Socio-educational support for grief work with special consideration of creative media. Hamburg 2014, ISBN 978-3-95425-804-8 , p. 97.
  • Tomalin and Schauwecker use the terms art therapy and creative therapy synonymously. Clara Scheepers, Christa Berting-Hüneke (ed.): Ergotherapy. From treating to acting; Textbook for theoretical and practical training. 3rd, revised. and extended edition. Stuttgart 2007, ISBN 978-3-13-114343-3 , p. 489.
