The Ruth Cohn Institute for Topic-Centered Interaction (RCI) is a non-profit association that offers special training for working with and in groups. The association is based in Basel ( Switzerland ) and has sections throughout the German-speaking area, as well as in Budapest ( Hungary ) and Kerala ( India ). In addition to the sections, there are specialist groups for supervision, for teachers, for theology and for business that cooperate internationally.
Working in groups as well as accompanying and leading groups are at the center of the training that the association offers. The following three relationships are considered to be equal when working in groups: the individual group members, the relationships between group members and the assignment. This method and attitude form the basis for a leadership model that is designed to combine democracy and efficiency.
