Margret Nemann

Margret Nemann (born May 14, 1955 in Vechta ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian , pastoral consultant , pastoral psychologist , supervisor , social scientist and university teacher .

Life

Growing up in Vechta, Nemann studied philosophy and Catholic theology in Bonn and Münster from 1974 . After graduating, she did her doctorate under Peter Hünermann with a thesis on the history of theology on Martin Gerbert and worked as an assistant at the University of Münster.

After starting her pastoral work as a pastoral assistant in Löningen (Oldenburger Land), she was pastoral assistant in Molbergen from 1987 and in Lohne from 1991. With half a job she worked in the meeting house in Stapelfeld. Her tasks included the training of full-time and voluntary employees from the communities as well as family education.

She later became head of the department for pastoral care for women in the Episcopal Vicariate General, and from 2002 onwards, as the successor to Martha Fehlker , she headed the department for staff support and advice. Her tasks here included both pastoral psychological training for pastoral assistants in the diocese, as well as leading the supervision training for the diocese (in cooperation with the KFHNW, now KatHO, Munster Dept.). At the beginning of 2009 she was appointed honorary professor in the supervision course at the Catholic University of North Rhine-Westphalia (KatHo), Department of Münster.

In 2010 she took on the role of director of the Institute for Diaconate and Pastoral Services (IDP), the institution of the Münster diocese , who is responsible for training and further education, the introduction to the profession and for the use of deacons and pastoral assistants in the diocese is.

Margret Nemann is teaching supervisor of the German Society for Pastoral Psychology (DGfP) and supervisor of the German Society for Supervision (DGSv), as well as a graduate member and lecturer of the Ruth-Cohn Institute for Topic-Centered Interaction according to Ruth Cohn .
