Peter Sternad
Peter Sternad (born February 8, 1946 in Villach ) is a former Austrian hammer thrower .
Career
In 1972 he came 17th at the Olympic Games in Munich .
At the European Athletics Championships in Rome in 1974 and the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, he was eliminated in qualification.
He was Austrian champion eight times (1972–1976, 1978–1980). On May 1, 1980, he set a national record in Klagenfurt with 71.40 m, which was broken in 1983 by Johann Lindner .
