Peter Verhoyen

Peter Verhoyen (born August 1, 1968 in Belgium ) is a Belgian flautist and piccolo flutist .

Life

Peter Verhoyen is the soloist piccolo at deFilharmonie . He is employed at the Koninklijk Vlaams Conservatorium in Antwerp and at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Brussels as a lecturer for piccolo and didactic flute. Together with cellist Stefaan Craeynest, he founded the Arco Baleno chamber music ensemble. With this ensemble he has made nine CD recordings and various radio recordings. He is also regularly active in the Collegium Instrumentale Brugense under the direction of Patrick Peire and in the Il Novecento orchestra under the direction of Robert Groslot .
