Peter Weigt

Peter Weigt (born December 19, 1948 ) is a former German long-distance runner .

At the European Athletics Indoor Championships he was fifth over 3000 m in 1975 in Katowice and sixth in Munich in 1976 . At the Cross Country World Championships he came in 1976 in Chepstow in 48th place and in 1978 in Glasgow in 103rd place. In 1976 he was German runner-up over 5000 m and 10,000 m . In the hall over 3000 m he became German champion in 1975 and 1976 and vice-champion in 1977. In 1976 he won the Hochfellnberg Run

Peter Weigt started for SV Stuttgarter Kickers until 1976 , then for LAC Quelle Fürth .
