Peter von Aarberg (1350-1386)
Peter von Aarberg (* around 1350; † July 9, 1386 near Sempach ) was a nobleman from the noble family of the Counts of Aarberg . He was one of the two sons of Count Peter II von Aarberg (around 1300 - before 1372) from the Aarberg-Aarberg sidelines . His brother was Wilhelm von Aarberg , who, after his father sold the county, found a place of refuge in Austria, where he died in 1420 without a successor.
Peter von Aarberg took part as standard bearer on the side of the Habsburgs in the battle of Sempach against the Swiss Confederation and died together with Duke Leopold III. of Austria on the battlefield.
