Journal for the history of the Upper Rhine
The Journal of the History of the Upper Rhine (abbreviated CSOs , more rarely ZGORh ) is a 1850 by Franz Mone founded history journal . Since the 40th volume (1886) a new series (NF) was established, but was later postponed in favor of the original, continuous counting. Due to the war, Volume 95 [NF 56] (1943) Volume 96 [NF 57] was not followed until 1948.
Although the main area of the magazine was the Grand Duchy of Baden and there is still a close connection to the General State Archives, it was remarkable that the Upper Rhine term went well beyond this. In fact, contributions from the Palatinate , Alsace and Switzerland have also been published.
