Petersfield is a town of about 15,000 people north of the South Downs in Hampshire .
history
The place was founded towards the end of the 11th century. Agriculture expert John Worlidge , who wrote the book Systema Agriculturae in 1669 , lived in this place.

Petersfield has twinned cities with the German city of Warendorf and the French city of Barentin .
