Petr Faldyna (born July 11, 1976 in Frýdlant nad Ostravicí ) is a former Czech football player .
Club career
Faldyna started playing football at Spartak Frýdlant nad Ostravicí at the age of six. In 1990 the striker moved to VP Frýdek-Místek . Faldyna made his debut in the second division in the 1993/94 season.
In the 1995/96 season Faldyna completed his military service with Dukla Hranice in the fourth division and then returned to Frýdek-Místek . In the spring of 1999, the attacker was loaned to third division club Biocel Vratimov. In the autumn of 1999 Faldyna moved to FC Synot and contributed with five goals in 17 games to the rise of the team in the Gambrinus League , but he stayed there in the 2000/01 season without use. The second half of the season he spent at the second division SK LeRK Prostějov , in autumn 2001 he played on loan from league rivals 1. HFK Olomouc .
Faldyna moved to the then third division FK Kunovice in early 2002 , with whom the striker was promoted to the second division. In the 2002/03 season he scored twelve goals in 29 matches. At the beginning of the following 2003/04 season he scored four goals in four games and then moved to the first division club SFC Opava . There he was mostly used as a substitute and scored a goal.
In summer 2004 Faldyna returned to Kunovice . At the beginning of 2006 he moved to SK České Budějovice . With a total of 19 goals, the attacker was the top scorer in the 2005/06 second division season. From 2006 to 2009 Faldyna was under contract with FC Vysočina Jihlava . In June the striker signed a one-year contract with the Slovak first division promoted FK Senica .
At the end of 2010 he ended his career.
