Petr Lisičan (born June 5, 1962 in Polička ; † April 22, 2012 ) was a Czechoslovak cross-country skier .

Career

Lisičan, who started for the Dukla Liberec , became Czechoslovak junior champion over 10 km in 1981 and Czechoslovak junior champion over 10 km and 15 km in 1982. At the 1985 World Championships in Ramsau am Dachstein , he finished 45th over 30 km, 21st place over 15 km and 15th place over 50 km. He also achieved eighth place in the season together with Milan Blaško , Miloš Bečvář and Pavel Benc . In February 1985 in Vitoscha he achieved his best individual placement in the World Cup with eighth place over 15 km. At the 1987 World Championships in Oberstdorf he came in 25th place over 15 km classic, 22nd place over 30 km classic and fourth place with the relay. In the same year he became Czechoslovakian champion with the relay of Dukla Liberec. The following year he ran at the Winter Olympics in Calgary to 29th place over 30 km classic and 23rd place over 50 km freestyle. He completed his last international race at the 1989 Winter Universiade in Vitoscha. There he won the silver medal over 15 km and with the relay and the gold medal over 30 km.
