Petra Berg (* 10. July 1964 in Diefflen as Petra Great ) is a German lawyer and politician ( SPD ).

education and profession

After graduating from high school, Petra Berg studied law at Saarland University. After graduation, she was employed before setting up as a lawyer. From 2009 to 2012 she was the legal advisor for the municipality of Nalbach .

politics

Petra Berg ran unsuccessfully for the post of mayor in Dillingen in 2011. In the state elections in Saarland in 2012 , she won a state parliament mandate in the Saarlouis constituency and has been Parliamentary Managing Director of the SPD Saar in the state parliament since January 2014 and, as the successor to Reinhold Jost, General Secretary of the SPD Saar since March 2014 .

Personal

Berg is Roman Catholic, married and has three children. She lives in Nalbach .
