Petra Busch

Petra Busch (* 1967 in Meersburg am Bodensee) is a German crime writer , journalist, copywriter and editor.

Life

Petra Busch studied mathematics, computer science, literary history and musicology and received her doctorate in mediaeval studies . In parallel to her doctorate, she completed a journalistic training. She worked at the University of Freiburg , for various newspapers and advertising agencies operating across Europe. Today she writes psycho thrillers for the large public publisher Droemer Knaur , is active as an editor and writes freelance for international clients from science, technology and culture. Your work has received several awards. For her detective novel Schweig still, mein Kind she received the renowned Friedrich Glauser Prize for the best debut of 2010 and the "Bloody Cover".

The author is a member of the Syndikat (authors' group of German-language crime literature) and of the Texttreff network. She lives in the northern Black Forest.
