Elke Pistor
Elke Pistor (* 1967 in Simmerath ) is a German writer .
Life
Pistor grew up in Gemünd , a district of Schleiden in the Euskirchen district , and studied education in Cologne , where she lives today, works as an author and journalist and offers writing seminars. She has been writing short stories and detective novels since 2009 . In 2012 and 2014 she was a member of the jury for the Jacques Berndorf Prize, an Eifel crime promotion prize. In 2012 she was also a member of the jury for the Friedrich Glauser Prize 2013 in the debut novel category .
Elke Pistor has been the spokeswoman for the Syndicate , the association of German-speaking crime writers, and a member of the Murderous Sisters since 2014 .
